Parkway Christian School endeavors to provide a Christ-centered education. In order to achieve this, the following aspects have been incorporated into our program:
Chapel
Chapel is a special time set aside several times each week for the school to come together to worship and praise the Lord and to learn of Him. The continual hearing of the Word is one way to learn God’s principles and write them on the tables of our hearts.

Standards of Conduct
Students must recognize that their conduct is a reflection of the testimony of the Lord, Parkway Christian School, their family, and themselves. A Parkway Christian School student is expected to live within the behavior code of the school. This is a commitment to govern oneself and abide by the school code with a willing attitude. The guidelines (reflected in the student handbook) are established to maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning and glorifying to God.

Church Attendance
All students are required to attend their home church regularly.

Activities
A vital aspect of a student’s development involves participation in extra-curricular activities. However, a balanced combination of academics and other pursuits must be maintained, and students must be careful to prioritize responsibilites. Opportunities exist for the purpose of developing positive, spiritual leaders in our student body. All activities are sponsored by one or more faculty members. The students involved oversee special school projects, social events, and community projects as well as promote school spirit.

Christian Leadership Opportunities
Students who have learned to establish godly principles in their lives will perform at a high level of excellence, within the context of their own God-given abilities and gifts. Various opportunities exist for the purpose of developing positive, spiritual leaders in our student body, our community and within the various churches represented.

Athletics
The comprehensive sports program allows students to develop sports skills while learning life skills of commitment, loyalty, self-discipline and sportsmanship. Girls and boys sports are offered beginning in upper elementary through high school, with fall, winter and spring offerings at various grade levels. Currently, boys are offered football, soccer, basketball, baseball and track. Girls athletics include basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball and track.

Service Hours/Co-Curricular Requirements
Students must complete 60 hours of approved service and participate in two (2) co-curricular activities during grades 9 - 12 in order to graduate.

Dress Code
Students are required to wear school uniforms as defined in the Student Handbook.
